audiences everywhere for its score, which includes the most

music conjure up a particularly exotic locale: ancient Ceylon,

and Zurga, king of the pearl fishers. The travails of this
love triangle lead to disaster when Zurga believes himself

Holzer has consistently and
inventively challenged people's assumptions about the world
through the use of language that conveys the multiplicity of
often contradictory voices, opinions, and attitudes that form
the basis of society. Alternating between fact and fiction,

work offers an incisive social and psychological portrait of
contemporary times.

The exhibition contains 100
examples of the tiny stone sculptures commonly referred to as
Stargazers. These pre-Cycladic objects were thought to be used
in religious ceremonies. It is unclear what the relationship
is, if any, between these Anatolian idols and their
better-known and roughly-contem
porary cousins from the Cycladic Islands further west. These
figures come from Anatolia in western Turkey and Iiliua near
Gallipoli and date from 3000 BC.
