Grand Theatre (Teatr Wielki), erected between 1825 and 1832 according to the design by Antonio Corazzi. It is probably the biggest theatre in Europe, with a seating capacity of 1900 spectators; after the war the Neo-classic façade has been rebuilt as it was in origin while the remaining parts of the building are a design by Boden Pniewski.
